Search for Course Specifications
The Programme Catalogue is where you can find the course specification for your course for your year of entry which contains all the details we are required to provide under CMA laws.
A course specification is the University standard document approved by the relevant committee and consists of a number of sections describing:
- the aims and learning outcomes of the course/award
- the learning and teaching methods used
- the structure of the course, including the modules that may be studied
- the support that will be provided for students and their learning
- the assessment methods that will be used to confirm that students have met the requirements for the award
To search the Programme Catalogue please enter your search criteria in the form on the right and click Begin search.
- First select the academic year you did or intend to start your course
- Select the academic school in which your subject is (don’t worry if you don’t know, you can leave it as All
- Please select the level of study
- Please type the title of the course. It will search for any words contained in the title for example, ‘accounting’ will bring up all courses with that in the title.
- Select Begin Search
- Below a list will appear sorted into academic schools. Depending how specific your search, you may have found the right one immediately or may have a few to search through.
- If brackets are included in the titles you find as a result of your search, then this means that the course specification will align to other course(s) with a similar structure
